A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Lindsay has considered herself an artist all her life

Lindsay received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Clemson University focusing in printmaking and ceramics. She went on to pursue graduate studies at the Corcoran College of Art and Design for Art Education in Washington D.C. and also worked at the National Museum of Women in the Arts before returning to Greenville where she had a short corporate career working in Human Resources.
In 2014 Lindsay found a unique opportunity to work full-time in the art field with running local art gallery, The Art Cellar. She has large community ceramic studio in the back of the gallery and also teaches classes. Lindsay is active in the Greenville community supporting the arts in many facets, serving on the Art’s in Public Places Commission and on the steering committee for the Contemporary Print Collective. In 2015 she was named Best and Brightest under 35 in the Greenville Business Magazine. Now that she has created a name for herself as gallery owner of The Art Cellar, she is focusing more time pursuing her own artwork and getting back to her creative passion for making art.
