A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Lindsay has considered herself an artist all her life as a product of Greenville's vibrant arts scene.
.
Lindsay is a mixed media artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Clemson University, where she specialized in printmaking and ceramics. She furthered her studies in Art Education at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, D.C., and gained valuable experience working at the National Museum of Women in the Arts early on in her career which later aided in her credentials as an art gallery owner at the age of 27.
Now working from her home studio, Lindsay draws inspiration from her garden, which serves as both a muse and a tool for embossing flowers directly into her clay creations. This new chapter in her artistic journey is reflected in her latest collection, "In Season," which symbolizes a fresh and exciting phase in her life.
Active in the Greenville arts community, Lindsay has a rich history of involvement, having served on the Arts in Public Places Commission for six years, been part of the Contemporary Print Collective and The Artist Next Door for four years each, and owned and operated a local art gallery for five years until its closure in 2019. Today, she is focused on her art, exploring her passion for studio work, and contributing to the vibrant local art scene.
